What Sneakerheads Look Like on Release Day

4/26/14
With the release of the Ronnie Fieg x Clarks Kildare dropping today at 8 a.m. and Ty McNutt and I being scheduled to both work we had to take a short "break" to catch the release. With laptops and phones equipped and ready to go for the release (see picture below haha) we were both lucky enough to grab the Salmon/ Grey color way which was 1 of 500 pairs made in the world. Look forward to on feet pictures when they come in and S/O to our awesome co-workers who understand our obsession with sneakers.

Pasco Dutch Bros Grand Opening Party

4/25/14
Last night I got the chance to experience my first Dutch Bros Grand Opening party. I didn't know what to expect but it was a hell of a good time. The drinks were flowing (thanks to my boy Sean for hooking me and the rest of the crew up with wristbands), my wonderful lady friend was there, and the classic Dutch Bros energy was there which made the night that much more special. I had an awesome time and I feel so blessed to be apart of something as awesome as Dutch Bros and I can't wait for the new Kennewick stand to open up.

Ronnie Fieg x Asics x Kith NYC "Mint Leaf" Gel Lyte V's

4/24/14
For anyone that knows me know that I have a deep passion for the world of sneakers. My favorite sneaker that I recently was lucky enough to grab is the Ronnie Fieg x Asics x Kith NYC "Mint Leaf" Gel Lyte V's. When I first laid my eyes on these sneakers I fell in love with them right away. The most obvious reason is the mint color that immediately grabs the attention of anyones eyes passing by. Also the addition of rope laces they made for these sneakers (in picture below) were what really made these a "must cop." To take things to a deeper level the sneakers are even sweeter because they were designed by clothing designer giant Ronnie Fieg. The New York based designer  has a ton of amazing collections and just by creeping through his instagram he seems like a very genuine dude who is dedicated to his work but also doesn't forget where his roots are. A person who can reach the height he is at in the street wear fashion world and remember where he came from automatically has my respect and my loyalty to his brand. Check out some of his latest work on instagram @ronniefieg or follow his clothing store he built @kithnyc.

Hello, My Name Is Johnny...

4/23/14
Hello! First of all I want to thank you for even viewing my page. My name is Johnny Jansen. I am 19 years old and I live in Washington State. I am currently attending Columbia Basin College for school as I work towards attaining a degree in business. My life revolves around school, my awesome job and Dutch Bros Coffee, my family, wonderful girlfriend and my friends. For fun I love trying to keep up with todays fashion and trying to set myself apart from the norm. I think it is a nice challenge for a person to battle against the grain of what people think is "normal" and to take a long, hard look into the mirror to find what truly makes a person happy and not what makes other people satisfied. The reason I started a blog was mostly because I wanted a way to feel free to post exactly what I wanted and not worry about if my "followers" would approve my posts. And also just to see where something I literally have no idea how to manage could take me. Thanks for taking a peak and stay tuned for random events, items, and thoughts that enter my mind.
